Education Classes
Childbirth can feel like a great leap into the unknown, especially if you’re about to be a first-time parent. We believe that sharing our knowledge can help you overcome any fears and concerns you may have. Our comprehensive Family Learning Center offers a wide variety of classes taught by certified educators for new and expectant parents, siblings and grandparents. We encourage family involvement – during your pregnancy and following the birth of your baby.

Infant Loss Supportive Healing Group
Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital is offering a support group to parents that are grieving over the loss of a child.  The support group will be a safe place where parents will learn what is normal during loss and identify ways of living with the loss of their child.  Parents will receive practical information on the grief process, and will have a place to bring their stories and talk about their feelings to others that can relate to what they are experiencing.  This support group will give a sense of community - where grief is acknowledged as being a very individual process. For more information, call 615-396-5343 or email Jacquelyn.Clevenger@sth.org.
