- Complete the Emmi™ Online Weight Loss Surgical Options Webinar. The Saint Thomas Medical Partners Center for Surgical and Medical Weight Loss is proud to offer our patients the convenience viewing an online seminar via Emmi™. Emmi™ speaks in plain language and uses clear graphics, answers common questions and allows patients to ask their doctor questions as they come to mind. The result? Patients are better prepared to care for themselves before and after surgery. Their support team understands what's involved and how they can provide support. Emmi™ is an Internet-based, multimedia program that gives you a very clear sense of what to expect before, during and after your surgery. It will answer many of the common questions that you may have and you can type in other questions specifically for your doctor.
We will provide you with a user specific log on code to view Emmi™ when you begin your education process with us. You may view Emmi™ before or after attending our FREE Bariatric Informational Seminar. This can be done at your own convenience; however, you will be required to show proof of completion at the time of your Initial Consult with your surgeon.
- Attend an Initial Consult with your surgeon. At your Initial Consult, you and your surgeon will be able to discuss various surgical options specific to your individual needs and wants. We will provide you with all the necessary requirements and specific items you will need prior to attending your Initial Consult. This will help your surgeon understand your medical background as well as expedite your pre-operative process.
