Rehabilitation Services

Saint Thomas Health Services offers a comprehensive range of orthopaedic rehabilitation programs on both an inpatient and outpatient basis.

Baptist Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine Clinics, conveniently located throughout the MidState region, are staffed by licensed physical/occupational therapists and exercise specialists. Each center provides sports, orthopedic and general musculoskeletal rehabilitation services as well as individual rehabilitation services for a full range of needs.

General Orthopedics and Sports Rehabilitation
Professionals with dual certification in physical therapy and athletic training provide treatment for orthopedic/sports conditions such as rehabilitation for the shoulder, knee, foot, and ankle.

Industrial Rehabilitative Services
Our comprehensive WorkSmart Rehab Program includes post-injury acute therapy, testing for return-to-work capabilities, work hardening/ work conditioning, job simulation and injury prevention education. Our therapists and exercise specialists work directly with employers to facilitate the return-to-work process.
