Infection Control

Infection prevention and control is a primary focus at Saint Thomas Health Services. Throughout all of our hospitals and facilities, we have strict policies and procedures in place for control and prevention of infection using best practices. We understand that prevention is key and practice strict standards of patient care to reduce the risk of infections. For purposes of identifying and comparing data, we follow CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) guidelines for the identification and public reporting of infections.

We show a quality ribbon if a hospital has the best score possible.
