At Saint Thomas Health Services' three Centers for Breast Health, we’re helping thousands of women across Middle Tennessee fight back against breast cancer each and every day. We offer a full range of services to foster good breast health – including screenings to detect cancer at the earliest and most treatable stages and some of the newest and most sophisticated treatments against this disease.

Take the Test: Breast Cancer Risk Factors
Answering yes to one or more of these questions doesn't mean that you will develop breast cancer, but your risk may be higher than average.
1. Are you female over the age of 30?
2. Have you had a personal history of breast cancer?
3. Has your mother, sister or daughter had breast or ovarian cancer or both?
4. Have you ever received radiation treatments to your chest as a child or adult?
5. Are you obese?
6. Were you younger than 12 when you first started menstruating?
7. Did you enter menopause after age 55?
8. Did your first pregnancy occur after age 30?
9. Have you never been pregnant?
10. Have you received hormone therapy for more than four consecutive years?
11. Do you drink more than two glasses of alcohol a day?
If you answer yes to one or more of these questions, you may want to consult your physician and become aware of important warning signs.
All women should conduct monthly self-examinations; women over 40 should have annual mammograms.
